Born from above or not

What did Jesus mean when he said, Except(unless) a man be born again(born of God or born from above), he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Did Jesus imply that we were spiritually dead? So we have to be born again because we are spiritually dead? Now were in the Bible does it say that we are spiritually dead? Not even when Adam ate of the tree of good and evil, does it say that he died spiritually. He began to die physically. Before he ate he was immortal, and so was the whole creation. The literal translation says this; but of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil you may not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, dying you shall die. (Gen 2:17 LITV) So Adam began to die physically and not spiritually. If your spirit is dead, then you do not have a spirit, because it is dead. Then how could God still speak to Adam and Eve if they were spiritually dead? God is spirit, and those who worship him must do it in spirit and truth (John 4:24). In Ecclesiastes 12:7 the preacher writes this; Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. God gave you a spirit, so your spirit cannot die. It is the part of you that is immortal, because it came from God.

 If Jesus did not speak about spiritual death. Then what did he speak about?

 When Jesus spoke to Nicodemus he said a lot of interesting things like what is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the spirit is spirit. Now Nicodemus did not under stand this. Jesus replied and said that you are a master of Israel and you do not know these things. If I had told you about earthly things and you understand not, what then if I told you about heavenly things. The things Jesus was talking about to Nicodemus was earthly things, so he should have known it.

 It was never a question, “are you born again”or “born from above”, but a statement that Jesus had made. Jesus answered the statement the Nicodemus made; “no man can do these miracles…” Jesus told him that if you were not born of God you cannot do these miracles, and you cannot see the kingdom of God, because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God

Jesus was actually saying; Nicodemus you have to be born from above to see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus you were not born from heaven, you were born of the flesh, you do not receive me, but Nicodemus, I was born from above, I was born from the spirit and every one that receives me were born of the seed of Isaac of promise. No one can do these things except he is born from above. Nicodemus you have to be born from above to do these miracles, you have to be born of the Spirit. But your are not born of the Spirit that is why you cannot do these things. But Nicodemus what you can do is to believe in me and you will have eternal life.

 Jesus did not say that Nicodemus must be born from above, Jesus said that Nicodemus was not born from above.

“How can I enter a second time in my mothers womb?”

Nicodemus, you don’t understand. What is born of the Spirit is Spirit (Jesus) and what is born of the flesh is flesh(you).

Now Nicodemus if you believe in me and what I have come to do. To die on the cross, to be crucified, to pay for the sins of the world, and after that has happened I would be raised from the dead. Then the works that I did you would be able to do also. I came to reconcile the world to God. When I die, all will die (2 Cor 5:14&15). And when I am raised up you will be raised up (if you believe) so that you would be a new creation, in Me (in Christ) who was born of the Spirit, so that you will also be part of me whom is born of the Spirit.

It is not a question of being born from above or born again but, it is did you receive Jesus, did you believe in Jesus. Because if you believe in Him, you have partaken in His death and resurrection and therefor you are a new creation in him. Then you are righteous, justified and holy to God in Jesus. Jesus was the only one who was born from above. You are now in Him because you believe. Now if you believe you are in Him, then you are a partaker of the seed and is in the promise, a new creation. And because you are now in Christ, you are partaking of His nature, so you can do these miracles and enter in the kingdom of God. Therefor I cannot go out and preach, “be born again” or “be born for above”. It is not a question of being born from above or you being born from above, but that you are partaking in what Jesus has done, not your own works but what Jesus has done. So you cannot go out and brag, “I am born from above”. No, it is something you partake of in Christ, being a new creation.

Am I born from above?

NO!

What then?

Am I a new creation in Christ?

Yes!

You are IN Christ, and He was the only one born from above and you are IN Him a new creation. Did I take away your “born again” experience away?

No, but it was not a “born again experience” but you being made a new creation in Christ.

Because you are now in Christ, you can do these miracles. I am not born from above but I am in Christ who was born from above.

Adam not a spiritman

There are a lot of people today that claim that Adam was a spirit man, and that he died spiritually when he and his wife Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. I have come to reject the thought, because it is not sound doctrine. In Genesis 2:7 the scripture says:And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Adam had a spirit inside of him but he was ruled by his emotions, his soul, not his spirit. He was a soul man. Jesus said to the woman at the well, God is Spirit and he who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth(John 4:24) God said to Adam: but of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil you may not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, dying you shall die. (Gen 2:17 LITV)

Dying means; the act or process of ceasing to live, ending, or drawing to a close. Now some teach that Adam, at that moment, died spiritually and not physically. If you read carefully you will notice the process of ceasing to live began when he ate of the fruit of the tree. Thus he die later and not at that moment, physically. Now some also believe that Adam would have died even if he did not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they use this scripture to prove it;
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever(Gen 3:22):
That is not true, he was immortal, and after he ate he became mortal. When Adam ate the fruit of the tree, the process of dying began, (not before the time) God put them out of the garden so that Adam would not eat of the tree of life an stay in that state of mind of knowing good and evil forever. Remember that they still talked with God and perceived his presence;
And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.(Gen 3:8)

Now if they were spiritually dead, they would be the same as animals, not having a spirit to communicate with God. (remember the donkey of Balaam, the donkey saw the angel of the Lord, and spoke to Balaam, not to God) How then if all were spiritually dead because of Adam, how then could Enoch walked with God an was no more? (Gen 5:24) How then could God speak to every other prophet of old if their spirits were dead?
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost(2Pet 1:21).

Now where in the Bible does it mention that your spirit can die?
And be not afraid of those killing the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but fear rather Him who is able both soul and body to destroy in gehenna. (Matt 10:28 YLT) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.(James 2:26).
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
So if your spirit is dead, then you do not have a spirit, then you are also dead physically, in the grave, literally. But physical death came by Adam, not spiritual death;
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law).
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come (Rom 5:12-14).

After Adam there were righteous people on the earth. Able the son of Adam was one of them and also Noah, and many others, but they all died because of Adam.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive(1Cor 15:21-22).
One thing to note in the Bible is that every thing spiritual was first manifested in the physical. The tabernacle of Moses was a shadow and a pattern of the spiritual things. The natural, physical, must first manifest then the spiritual will manifest.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly(1 Cor 15:45-49).

So we see that Adam could not have been a spiritual person, but a natural one, and then came the spiritual Adam, Jesus Christ. You were born with a spirit, you were not born spiritually dead, other wise you would have not existed. You were just ignorant of where you came from, that you came from God. You first thought that you came from your mother and father, but you came originally from God. Your flesh came from your parents, but your spirit were born of God. Act 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God,
